February 10, 2025

The 4th edition of the Addis Jazz Festival lit up the city from February 7th to 9th, 2025, bringing together a powerful blend of legendary Ethiopian talent and international stars for a weekend of unforgettable music, culture, and connection.

This year’s lineup was truly iconic, showcasing celebrated Ethiopian acts such as Dawit Yifru feat. Kuku Sebsebe, Samuel Yirga, and Bereket Abebe from Addis Ababa’s vibrant jazz scene. They were joined by powerhouse performers like Roha Band featuring FikreAddis Nekatibeb, Kayn Lab, Haddinqoo with Desta Groove, Winyo, and Tigray CulturalKong. Adding an international flair, the festival also welcomed Mozambique’s legendary Stewart Sukuma & Banda Nkhuvu and Swedish sensation Mapei. Together, these artists delivered a dynamic fusion of Afro-jazz, soul, funk, and global rhythms that kept audiences dancing well into the night.

Thanks to our incredible partners-the Embassy of Sweden, British Council, Yedesta Bunna, Mac Entertainment, Zemen Bank, WhatsOutAddis, and Culture Club-the 2025 festival was a resounding success.
