Selam Ethiopia has started giving a theoretical and practical online training on Sound engineering, studio technique and music production starting from Thursday November 19, 2020 for young studio owners in Addis Ababa city administration and regional cities in Oromia, Amhara, and SNNPR, for more than 30 participants.
Trainings are given by the known music composer Kirubel Tesfaye for two days a week which will last for a month. Tesfaye himself took part in a similar training himself previously and this is a sustainable way of organizing mentorship and developing leadership through the passing on knowledge. The training is deemed to be important for selected project participants mainly to improve their skills on studio technique which in turn will help to open a new opportunity and initiative for participants to produce better and quality music.
